This was from a real estate inspection a few years back. They had painted the block so many times that the paint became a vapor barrier and trapped moisture in the block. The steel in the bond beam began to corrode and split the block along this side of the building.

Those are plantains crafted out of resin. Anchor Engineering provided the design for the rigging componentry and winch. This is one of the most unusual sounding jobs to come through the office.

A crack was investigated across a tension connection. A metal strap was added to prevent further movement.

This is a pile driving rig on Baffin Island. The installation was part of an upgrade to the power generation in Iqaluit. Holes are cored into the bedrock and permafrost, the piles are driven to refusal and injected with arctic grout. Its a type of concrete that will set in freezing temperatures.
